What is Botox?
Botox (onabotolinumtoxinA) is a protein that is used cosmetically as a muscle relaxing injection to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Areas such as the forehead, glabella (11 lines), and crows feet, are most commonly treated with botox.
As we age, skin loses its elasticity, thus wrinkles begin to form. Botox is the most effective skin treatment for reducing the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles. It also prevents new lines from forming by relaxing the muscles and reducing excessive facial movements. Lines and wrinkles are smoothed out temporarily for a more youthful, glowing appearance.
How Long Will Results Last?
Results can last between three to six months. Clinical studies show that botox treatments have a cumulative effect, so fewer injections are needed as time goes on.
What to Expect Post Injection?
Bruising and/or swelling is to be expected at the injection site. Allow up to 7 days to start to see results, and up to 2 weeks for full results. In some cases, patients may need a 2 week follow up appointment for minor touch ups (depending on desired results)
What are Fillers?
Facial fillers, also known as Dermal Fillers, are most commonly used to add volume to areas of the face suffering from volume loss and to diminish the appearance of fine lines. Areas such as the lips, under-eyes, and cheek bones are most commonly treated with filler to restore volume.
As we age, our faces naturally lose fat, the facial muscles are then working closer to the skin surface, so smile lines and crow’s feet become more apparent. Other factors that affect the facial skin include sun exposure, heredity and lifestyle.
Dermal fillers are composed of Hylauronic Acid, so they will naturally dissolve over time. Maintenance is required every 6-12 months depending on the area injected, and desired results.

What are PDO Lift Threads?
A PDO thread lift are known to be a non-surgical face lift. It is a procedure that uses dissolvable sutures to rejuvenate and lift sagging skin. It is a cost effective and quicker alternative to a surgical facelift.
This technique helps to produce more collagen and rejuvenate the skin. Collagen helps to keep our skin strong, voluminous and supple, and as we age, our bodies begin to produce less collagen. This loss of volume and strength is why the skin wrinkles and sags.
For many patients this is a better alternative to a surgical procedure because of its recovery time. You can resume most regular activity immediately after treatment.

- Less expensive than surgery
- Less risks of scarring
- Results are long lasting but not permanent
